New 2016 Ford Edge owner here.. I was excited about the newer edge (had an old one) having a built in navigation system until it sent me on several wild goose chases. According to ford.navigation.com my 2016 has the most up to date map and there hasn't been an update since..omg that's 4 years. How can that be? With streets and roads constantly changing 4 years seems to be a bit of a long stretch without an update. I think if I read correctly if I want up-to-date traffic I have to pay for a Sirius membership. Why would I do that, when I can get up to date traffic conditions on my iPhone using google or apple maps and not be sent me all over the country as Google and Apple seem to know where the latest streets have been built. Sorry for the rant..really disappointed with Ford Sync's navigation system. As far as I'm concerned.it's a joke!
